Terms of Service

Clear terms for the dates you keep.

Last updated:

1. Provider and scope

DueMark is a tool for recording dates, managing events and providing reminders, offered by individual developer Bing Zhou. These terms cover the app and website. Read them before use; if you do not agree, stop using the service. These terms do not exclude or limit your mandatory consumer rights.

2. Account and responsible use

Protect your device and sign-in credentials, provide account information you are entitled to use and take responsibility for actions through your account. The app may provide a guest identity for an initial experience; you may bind an email or Apple sign-in identity using the options provided in the app. Keep the sign-in method needed to access your records and entitlements. Minors should obtain guardian consent or guidance where applicable law requires it. Do not use the service unlawfully, infringe others’ rights, impersonate someone, damage systems or bypass service limits. Contact us if you discover unauthorized account activity.

3. Records, sync and reminders

You are responsible for the content you enter and its lawfulness, and retain rights to that content. When you create an event through Siri or Shortcuts, information passed to DueMark is used to perform the requested action and follows the same storage and sync rules as other events. Siri’s own processing is governed by Apple’s policies. Widgets use local event information shared with the main app to display dates; content may appear on the Home Screen or Lock Screen. We process records only as needed to provide storage, sync, reminders, recovery and support. Keep independent copies of important records.

Reminder delivery may be affected by permissions, Focus modes, device state, time zones, networks or system scheduling. Timely delivery cannot be guaranteed. DueMark does not replace medical, legal or financial advice; use independent checks for critical deadlines.

4. Paid features and subscriptions

Free and paid features, prices, currencies, billing periods and trial conditions are those shown in the app and App Store at purchase. Apple processes purchases under its payment rules; these terms do not set specific prices.

If you buy an auto-renewable subscription, it renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Apple may charge for renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel subscriptions in iOS Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions. Refer to Apple’s confirmation screen for billing and trial conversion details. One-time purchases are not auto-renewable subscriptions. If you purchase a lifetime membership, its entitlement and scope are those shown in the product description at purchase. A lifetime membership does not automatically cancel an existing auto-renewable subscription; cancel that subscription separately in Apple subscription settings.

Restoring purchases requires the associated Apple account and eligible purchase records. DueMark verifies the purchase record and entitlement association. Request refunds through Apple Report a Problem, subject to Apple’s policies and applicable law. Uninstalling the app or deleting your DueMark account does not automatically cancel a subscription.

5. Privacy and account deletion

See our Privacy Policy for information handling. Delete your account using “Me → tap your avatar or account information → User Details → Delete Account” in the app. Account deletion takes effect immediately after you confirm, and the account and associated cloud personal information are deleted as part of that operation, except for information that must legally be retained. Save needed data before deletion and manage Apple subscriptions separately. You must separately manage local and exported copies.

6. Intellectual property and Apple license

The software, branding and design of the app and website are protected by intellectual property laws. Your records remain yours. You receive permission to use the service personally within the applicable terms. Do not unlawfully copy, resell or infringe related rights; conduct expressly permitted by law is not restricted.

Apps obtained through the App Store are subject to Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement (EULA) unless a custom license has been separately agreed. These service terms supplement DueMark’s service rules and do not replace Apple’s applicable license and purchase terms.

7. Changes, availability and responsibility

We may update or temporarily interrupt services for maintenance, security, legal requirements or feature changes. For material impacts, we will meet notice or remedy obligations under applicable law and purchase commitments. We may impose necessary restrictions on unlawful, abusive or security-threatening use.

To the extent permitted by law, we cannot give absolute guarantees against system or network failures outside reasonable control. We remain responsible as required by applicable law; these terms do not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

8. Updates and disputes

Updates to these terms will include a revised date. Material changes will be communicated as required by applicable law. Please contact us first to discuss a dispute. If it cannot be resolved, either party may seek resolution through a competent authority under applicable law. Your mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected.
